Whenever we have the rare summer rainstorm minus the thunder and lightning, the kids love to run and play outside in the backyard. I don't blame them. It's fun to play in the warm rain!
I was making bread one afternoon, and had my sink of water to clean the dirty dishes. Sariah decided to lend a hand. She pushed the chair over by herself, and proceeded to "wash" the dishes for me.
Abi and Everett both auditioned for the Missoula Children's Theater when it came to Lackland, AFB. Sadly, Everett didn't make it. He was quite distraught for a while, but was still happy for Abi. He picked up some tips so hopefully he'll have better luck the next time around.
Abi was chosen to be in the group of The Towns Kids for the play The Pied Piper. She had so much fun auditioning, and attending the rehearsals. She was nervous the day of the play, but once the play started, she did great! She is looking forward to trying out again next year in Nebraska.
