Everett's 5th birthday was definitely one to remember. It was the day of our second blizzard. It snowed another 24 inches. Since we couldn't do anything fun for his birthday, other than watch the snow blow around, we let him pick a movie or two, or three to watch. So, while the wind howled outside, and the temperature dropped, we were snug inside our house watching movies all day long.
Not only did we rot our brains, but we had to rot our teeth out as well with cake and ice cream! He wanted a Star Wars cake. He had drawn me a picture of what he wanted it to look like, so here it is! We enjoyed freshly made snow ice cream. Delicious!

Of course, we had to open presents! He got a new game, a puzzle, and 5 bucks from grandparents. He had fun making a plane out of his new blocks. I love the picture of his tongue sticking out. It must help with his concentration.

That was some great artwork in the background. Who drew the pictures? And happy b-day Everett!
