Since it's so hot outside, the kids decided to have a camp out inside, instead. They each had their own tent of some sort. They stayed up late giggling, talking and playing with their flashlights.
When we studied Antarctica, we made ice cream in bags. Sort of messy, but fun and tasty!
A childhood exploration of science just isn't complete without a round of homemade slime.
They were quite grossed out at first, but as the concoction took shape, it became more fun. Eliza and Sariah were waiting patiently for their turn.
Yes! Sariah was quite intrigued by it all. She had to taste it, of course. I guess it didn't taste very good, because she only had one small bite.

4 out of the 8 kids chosen to participate in this electric current activity were mine.
Sariah had to follow in Eliza's footsteps and climb in the bookcase.
Even though Beau was still limping from his basketball injury, for Father's Day I still got him a Spur's t-shirt. He's always been a basketball fan, and will always be a basketball fan, no matter what the sport may do to him. I just have to accept that and love him anyway.

Looks like a ton of fun! And how did our girls get so grown up? Weren't Abbi and Lily the size of Sariah?
