This blurry picture is not a product of my poor photography skills. It is to disguise the true identity of this man. Is it Clark Kent? Bruce Wayne? Peter Parker? Only a super hero Dad would attempt to build a set of bunk beds from scratch for his children.

These are the silly boys that will benefit from the powers of said super hero.

Every super hero has to have a plan of attack, proper supplies and gadgets.

X-ray vision helps when using a router. It's a good thing he used ear protection while sanding, so as to protect his supersonic hearing.

Not only did he make frames for the beds, he constructed a bookcase for the footboard so they would have extra storage space. A super hero thinks of everything!

Making sure that everything fits together. Even a super hero can sometimes make mistakes, but not this one!

Oh, the joy of sanding! Almost done, just adding the paint and stain.

The boys room before the change. Dismantling the old beds. Eliza tried to lend her own power to the project.

The final assembly begins!

The little boys absolutely adore their new beds! Leave it to a super hero dad to save the day!

Those look great! Can't wait to see how their new quilts, made by their super hero Mom, turn out. :)
Those are way cool! Can't wait until I don't have a little person that will climb up and fall off the top so I can have some bunk beds! Way to go Super hero!
Way to go Beau! Those turned out awesome! I love the bookcase on the end of the bed too.
LOVE EM!! you did a great job - and saundra, you nailed the super hero title - of course, light attracts light which means you've just revealed your own super identity!
