Popsicles, hiding, and track

Sariah experienced her first popscile. She loved it!

She was quite pleased that she could finally see out the window.
Abi attended a track meet in May. I had never seen so many kids in one place. It was a nightmare! We had to wait HOURS for Abi to run. Luckily, the boys had a friend to play with, Abe. Abe had all sorts of cool toys.
Abi didn't mind the waiting. She thought she was too cool in her track uniform.
Finally, after a few hours it was her turn to take the track. She ran the 200M. I was surprised at how fast some of those little girls could run! Abi held her own. She looked so cute!
We adults didn't want to sit around for another several hours waiting for her next event, so we convinced Abi it was OK to leave. Everyone was exhausted by the time we made it home, this is what they did.
We let Abi choose dinner, (pizza) and I made chocolate cakes to enjoy. One for Abi, and one to eat the next day for Mother's Day.
