Beau's Dad and
Stepmom came to visit us in October. What a fun visit we had! They stayed for an entire week. The kids were just thrilled to have the full attention of their Grandparents.

The day we went to Chuck E. Cheese, we practically had the entire place to ourselves! We gave the kids (big and small!) a cupful of tokens and let them loose. Eliza followed Beau around, and wanted in on whatever he was doing. She and Zachary loved riding in the Monster Truck. Beau and his Dad had a competition to see who could make the most baskets. I don't remember the winner....

We went
duckpin bowling one afternoon. It's almost the same as regular bowling. The differences are smaller balls and pins, and an extra spin down the alley. It's a great game, because the kids can bowl all on their own without any assistance.

Above all, just hanging out at home and enjoying each other's company was by far the most fun!

When we went to Medieval Times Beau was in a generous mood, and bought the boys swords, shields, and armor. What a hit! They were singing praises to him the rest of the day.

One evening we went to the park so the kids could get some energy out. Beau and his Dad played Shark with the kids. What a hit! Before long, everyone was out of breath. That doesn't seem to slow the kids down. If anything, they run faster! Everyone slept well that night.

We ventured into Washington DC. After driving around for a long time, we finally made it to Arlington Cemetery. We walked around and saw the changing of the
guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. It was a beautiful day.
Sariah was blessed in our home. Our good friends Brother
Arp and Brother and Sister Keck came by after church. It was so nice to be around good friends and family.
